方即是空 / Tintslide
Privacy Policy
Updated September 14, 2026
1. Scope and overview
This policy explains how Lantao Studio handles information in the web, PWA, Android and iOS versions of Tintslide / 方即是空. The game is free, with no account registration or in-app purchases.
- Game progress and preferences are mainly stored on your device.
- Playing Daily Endless automatically submits results and verification data. Nicknames and results are public.
- The web / PWA and TapTap versions contain no advertising SDK. The Google Play and App Store (iOS) versions use Google AdMob in three places: an optional ad to replay a daily run, an optional ad to unlock a Puzzle level’s solution the first time, and one interstitial every five newly cleared levels on the Random line.
- To access or delete uploaded information, contact us at the email address below.
The following sections explain the data involved and your choices.
2. Information on your device
The game stores preferences, progress, personal records, daily runs, pending results, nicknames and cached leaderboards on your device so you can continue playing and recover your state. The versions with advertising (Google Play, iOS) also store locally which ad rewards have been claimed and used, which levels’ solutions are unlocked, the Random line’s cleared-level count and pending ad record, and the privacy entry status. The game does not upload progress or action records from Campaign, Puzzle or ordinary Endless play.
The web / PWA version caches game resources, while Android and iOS install them with the app, to support offline play. Android or iOS may back up local data and restore it after reinstallation or on another device, depending on your system settings. The system manages these backups; we cannot read them.
3. Daily leaderboard
The game identifies your leaderboard records with a random credential stored on your device, not a hardware serial number. The credential is sent with leaderboard requests; the server stores a hashed player identifier. It can link results across days. “Anonymous” means no nickname was entered, not that records cannot be linked.
When a run ends or is settled at a day change, the game automatically submits the challenge date, action records, rules and result verification data, and an optional nickname. Offline submissions retry when connected. The server stores the player identifier, nickname, results, action records and related timestamps to create rankings, identify your results, validate runs and prevent cheating.
4. Public information and network services
The leaderboard publicly shows nicknames (or an anonymous label), scores, move counts and ranks, which others may view or capture. Device credentials, server player identifiers and full action records are not published through the leaderboard. Avoid real names, contact details or other sensitive information in nicknames.
We use Cloudflare for website hosting, the leaderboard API and database services. We and this provider process IP addresses and request information to handle connections, limit excessive requests and protect the service. The provider may also retain operational and security logs.
5. Legal bases and recipients
Where permitted by applicable law, we process information needed for your selected features to perform the game service agreement, process anti-cheat and security information based on legitimate interests in security and fair play, and meet legal obligations where necessary. Reliance on legitimate interests requires balancing your rights. We separately request consent where required by law; see section 7 for advertising choices.
We do not sell your personal information or give advertisers your daily leaderboard credential, nickname or action records. Apart from the public leaderboard and advertising services described here, information is disclosed only as necessary to provide services such as hosting, meet legal obligations or lawfully protect legitimate rights.
6. Advertising in the versions that have it
Only the Google Play and App Store (iOS) versions use Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). All three placements share one advertising service and one consent flow: reaching any of them for the first time triggers an advertising consent check and, when ad requests are permitted, initializes advertising services. Related data processing may occur even if no ad is ever shown to you. Those points are: opening Daily Endless; choosing to watch an ad in the Puzzle solution confirmation; and choosing to continue to the next level after the Random line’s ad notice. Simply browsing the Campaign map triggers none of this.
Ads play only after you choose them: the daily replay and the Puzzle solution unlock are rewarded videos, while the Random line’s ad every five newly cleared levels is a closable interstitial shown after you choose to continue and before the next level loads. The Classic line of Campaign has no advertising.
Depending on configuration and your choices, Google may process IP addresses and inferred approximate location, advertising IDs and other device identifiers, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic and performance information. Purposes include ad delivery, measurement, frequency control and fraud prevention. Personalized ads may also use activity across apps or websites to infer interests. See the linked service policies for how Google handles this information. The game has no separate third-party behavioral analytics SDK, but advertising services include the analysis described above.
7. Advertising privacy choices
In regions requiring advertising consent, including the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game uses Google UMP at any of the points listed in section 6 to check and, when needed, show a privacy form where you can choose permitted data uses and partners. All three placements share that one check and do not ask again separately. Ads are not requested before the necessary consent process is completed.
In applicable regions, “Ad privacy choices” is available under Menu → About to change or withdraw consent. Contact us if you cannot access it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. After refusal or withdrawal, only limited ads or no ads are offered. Your free daily run, Campaign and Puzzle remain available, and the Random line still continues to the next level; you simply cannot earn a replay or a solution unlock by watching an ad. Limited or non-personalized ads may still process information such as IP addresses; they do not mean zero collection.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings; on iOS, you can manage whether apps may request cross-app tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security. The web / PWA and TapTap versions have no advertising or advertising consent form.
8. Retention and deletion
Local information remains until overwritten by the game, cleared by the system or deleted by you. You can clear browser site data or Android app storage. Uninstalling a PWA may not clear site data. System backups are managed through system settings.
Full action records become eligible for periodic, batched deletion seven days after submission; delayed tasks or backlogs may postpone cleanup. Player records, scores, move counts and timestamps needed for ranking remain for historical leaderboards until deleted following a request or operational cleanup. Clearing local data does not delete server records and may remove the device identity linking you to them. See provider policies for retention of their logs and advertising data.
9. Your rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable data, withdraw consent and complain to a regulator. You can change or clear your nickname in the daily menu without deleting results.
For access, deletion or other requests, email [email protected] with your request and clues such as challenge dates and nicknames. Contact us before clearing local data if possible; do not email your device secret. We may need to securely verify your control of the records and will explain if we cannot locate or verify them. We will explain and limit the use of information that must be retained by law.
10. International processing, security and minors
Cloudflare and Google services may process information outside your country or region. International processing must meet applicable legal requirements, including required safeguards, notices and consent. You can contact us about the international processing arrangements relevant to your information.
We use security measures such as HTTPS and access controls, but no system is absolutely secure. The game does not request contacts, camera, microphone or precise-location permissions.
The game is not directed to children. Players below the local age for independently entering an agreement should use it with a guardian’s consent and guidance. Contact us if children’s information has been processed without legally required guardian consent so we can address or delete it. We do not provide personalized ads to children where prohibited by law.
11. Policy changes
This page shows its update date. Material changes, such as new advertising providers or significant data uses, will be announced in the game or on its distribution page, with fresh consent requested where required by law. The Chinese and English policies aim to convey the same meaning.
